I can't see how you can't find it... look in the box saying Audio plugins and then search for Eternal SPU Plugin v 1.41. It's there... and you shouldn't skip events as they might be important later.
Also if you got problems with sound just means that maybe you have put your graphic settings too high and it's taking all the power
