Thought i'd help out since I love this RPG

Review:

"As good as unknown, a total blast!"
After the patch for this game was released I decided to try it just to see little of it, then I ended up playing to the end, and at the end, I was shocked, how can something so good be so ignored and so underrated, this game is a total blast, and believe it or not I found it to be much better than some of the latest rpg for the PSX, PS2 and GBA, for example I was playing Wild Arms 3 (a huge disappointment by the way) before I found this masterpiece, and I had to stop because I got hooked to this one.

Plot 10/10: The main plot is very typical, involving sacred artifacts, chosen ones, a mysterious girl from the future… and everything to end up saving the world. Then why a perfect rating here?, because the game focuses on the story more than everything, and so there are a lot of plot twists and superb character development, the most important thing in every rpg. Talking about the characters, they are marvelous, with their own problems, secrets and interests. In addition, the plot is very deep and interesting. Great.

Graphics 10/10: Graphically DO II reminds me a lot to Final Fantasy VI, I would even say that excepting for the battle system almost everything is very similar to FF VI.
The battle system is a lot like the Breath of Fire series, but this one is more simple and enjoyable, a really good one. Very good.

Music 8/10: This was another surprise, I never expected it was to going to be this good, there isn’t a single bad theme in the whole game, all of them are terrific. There is one big problem though, the melodies are too short and there aren’t enough of them, so you’ll be hearing the same music all over again. Excepting for that the music is top notch.

Gameplay 9/10: There’s nothing new here, it plays like any other rpg. The only problems are the battles, they are too frequent, there is a battle almost every two steps. I didn’t care at all because the battle system is among the best on the Snes and the dungeons aren’t that long, but the encounter rate is way too high.

Difficulty 10/10: This is said to be an extremely hard game, well, I found it to be quite normal... until you reach the last bosses, they are insanely difficult, there’s big difference between hard or even incredibly hard (think FF IV) and utterly impossible.

If it weren’t for this and for the high encounter rate, this game should’ve been perfect., anyway, don’t be stupid, DO NOT pass this amazing gem by.
