I'm new here and I don't know if this is the right place to put this, but i'm trying to download a Pokemon Crystal ROM. But I just can't get it to work. I downloaded the GBC Emulator and everything, its just the Pokemon Crystal ROM itself i'm having problems with. A friend gave me the links and everything, so I only know where the ROM came from, but I guess I can't post links yet.
So I downloaded that, clicked Open Folder, and my friend told me to click "Extract All Files", but that option wasn't there. So I just clicked it a clicked Open. But a window just came up saying, "Windows Cannot Open this File: To open this file, Windows needs to know what program you want to use to open it. Windows can go online and look it up automatically, or you can manually select from a list of programs that are installed on your computer." And it gives me to options at the bottom, "Use the Web service to find the correct program." And "Select a program from a list of installed programs."
I tried both, but neither really helped. So I just went to Documents, and then to the Emulator, clicked Run, and right clicked and clicked on "Load rom..." But it just says nothing was found. Or "could not unzip gameboy rom from archive" or something. Anyone know how to get this working? I just want to play Crystal already lol
