I would help, but I use a totally different and much easier to understand(and possibly better) emulator called pSX (not PSX its pSX; totally intentional)
You could try switching to that one, it works well with alot of games, but if your using windows you may have trouble finding a windows download for it. granted I did, but it took a couple hours
