Hey, And then, I've been playing Voyage Century Online. It's alright. I think last night might have been the last night for double EXP. I don't remember. It sure was easy to level up (even though it was against freakin' rabbits). . . . Peace, manaman PS: Flyff FOREVER! |

Anyone know of any good MMORPGs that'd work on my computer?
Besides Knight Online, Anarchy Online, RO, Maplestory or Gunbound. Played those, got bored with them after a long while of playing. Specs: AMD Athlon 500MHz Processor ATI Rage fury pro 32MB graphics card(No OpenGL support) 256MB RAM Sound card is unknown, never checked it XD 7GB/37GB Yes, I know, crappy computer... |

FLYFF! FLYFF! FLYFF!
Yes, Flyff. It's great. What're you into, though? I mean, there are so many choices, if you tell me what you're interested in . . . that is, what sort of genre, mood, story you're interested in, it would help us help you. By the way, most MMORPG's will run on your machine if I'm not mistaken. Many tend to not be heavily taxing on machines because they have to deal with the issue of having so many people online at once. So, let us know, manaman |

I'll play just about anything as long as it's entertaining...
But, my computer is shitty as hell, and most MMORPGs I've tried haven't worked very well, or won't work anymore with the new graphics and stuff... I used to have Everquest, but my 'rents made me cancel the subscription >< Flyff is, alas, too much for my computer to handle... |

Well,
It's 2-D, if you're up for that. I think it's fantastic. Trickster. It has the best communication options of any MMORPG that I've played (which is now the total of all my fingers [ten]). One thing I particularly like is that you can leave people offline messages. The graphics are very pretty and the gameplay is fun. One neat thing is the system of drilling. It's your tool to find many quest items. And there's a pretty nice community. If you're looking for something that is VERY low on system resources, you could try Dofus. The only thing I don't like is the battle system. It's all tactics and I much prefer live fighting or at least point and click, let the game do the fighting for you, sort of fighting. The other drawback is that there are limitations as to where you can go in the free version. Still, it's a good game and nice in many respects. If you're looking for something that wouldn't lag AT ALL, this is it. Hmmm. . . . Surprisingly to me, MS takes up the least amount of disc space of any of my games. Anyway, I'm afraid many of the others I play might not work if Flyff doesn't work on your computer. You might try Ghost Online which Reiatsu is going to/is play(ing). It's a lot like MS, but I hear good things and it looks interesting. Otherwise, check the list, and see if you don't find something that really interests you. This whole thread is choc-full of games, so maybe you'd find something that strikes your fancy. Hope this helps, manaman |

I had Dofus for a while, even payed for it, but it got really boring and repetive.
I guess I'll just continue my fruitless search for games while I wait for either some job openings around her, or for my 'rents to get their taxes back so we can get a new computer... Anyways... Most games require a minimum of 800MHz, which I don't even meet... Hell, If I had that and a newer graphics card, I'd be playing WoW... I'm surprised I can even run ePSXe XD Thanks though. |
