when I try to open the game I get an error message saying it can't find dinput8.dll

Uninstall the game. Re-download the game installation program, then reinstall.

Actually I think you should just install Directx mate... dinput.dll sounds like directx issue

Hehehe... hush Anbu Well ok... so it wasn't because it's empty and I have changed to Bera (so shut up Sorrow and give me my inheritance )
But Scania reminded me of Scandinavia too (my home land... Denmark is part of Scandinavia which is the countries Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland... sometimes including Finland)

hehe, I guess your right It does sound like Scandinavia but all the l33t players play on bera ( not really ) I have a new char on Bellcoan.

Just a question, but if I'm going for mage... should I focus entirely on Dex and Luk? I have also been putting in str because I can't defeat monsters without that

If you want to be a perfect mage roll 4 in str and 4 in dex then your main stats are int and luk do not waste any points in str even though the lvls are a pain without it.At lvl 8 you should have 11 luk the rest in int then everytime you lvl put 1 point in luk and 4 in int with that build u should be able to wear all the equipment.Your luk should always be 3 points more then ur lvl.

Hey all,

So, since Scania seems to be the topic of the day, let me add my Scania character's information:

Name: Rudugast
Job: Beginner [with plans to be a Magician]

Rudugast is still on "Newbie Island," so you probably are going to have to wait to meet up with me. I should hit the "Mainland" quite soon, however. Provided I play as Rudugast. . . .

And then there's the exciting Bera news! First of all, Brisu is resurrected! He's currently back home, safe and sound in good ol' Henesys! Oh my, and was he ever glad to get out of Eos Tower. And the music in Omega Sector was wearing on him.

It took some doing but, when Brisu was back in toy-land, he was filled with glee. Then he proceeded back to the land of flying platforms and fairies, on to that fancy island off the coast of . . . everything it seems (you know, the one with the monkeys and their bananas?) and finally on the ship bound for the magic-types' homeland.
