I've tried to download Part 2 of Disc 1 Chrono Cross. The download starts for a second, then an unexpected error occurs and the download is cancelled. I've tried a bunch of times today, not sure if the other two downloads for Disc 2 work yet. Much appreciated if you can fix it!

In the future please provide us a link to the thread so we can help you faster.

What exactly does the error say?

I just gave Part 2 of Disc 1 a try and I had no trouble downloading it. Like Dude said, please provide us with an error.

Sorry about that, I'd like to post the link to the game and thread but I'm not allowed to post links because I haven't reached the necessary post count. Can't even write the url out. It is Part 2 of Disc 1 of Chrono Cross that I am trying to download. Here is the URL with spaces in between the "c o m"

megaupload. c o m/?d=L1KMKFEV

I tried it again today, and i still get the same error, if you can point out something I'm doing wrong it'd be appreciated. I enter the security letters in Megaupload and wait for the download to get ready, then I choose to Save the file into the same directory where I already downloaded Part 1 of Disc 1. The Download starts for about two seconds, then it stops going further and the error:

"Internet Explorer cannot download Chrono%20Cross.part2.rar from w w w.58megaupload . c o m
An unexpected Error has occured"

and then the download is closed. I've tried it many times but I keep getting the same thing... I'm not a member of Megaupload or anything, but I download smaller files all the time on a weekly basis from there so I wouldn't think that would be a problem... Thanks for any help, I'm in a bit of a bind.

EDIT: Just to make sure I tried downloading the other two downloads that I have yet to download (Part 1 and 2 of Disc 2) and the same error occurs... I also tried downloading Part 1 (which I already have) again and the error comes up there too! This is real frustrating, I'm wondering if there was some limit exceeded on Megaupload when I first downloaded Part 1 Disc 1. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Thats very strange i have never seen that kind of error...
Have you ever thought of using Firefox instead of IE??
Its alot better and safer. Maybe you should check it out.

Well then if there was no problem with the download this is in the wrong place. Its a problem with your configuration. Which emulator are you using and how do you have it configured?

i posted this earlier but i think i may have put it in the wrong thread... seeing as this is the difficulties thread.

hey, i'm trying to extract the .img file from disc 1 and, after i enter the password, it gets to 100% (or 99.whatever) but it says:

! CRC failed in the encrypted file Chrono Cross Disc 1.img (wrong password ?)

hmm. is the password wrong? or was my download corrupt?
thanks for making this available by the way!

edit: i just did an svf check on the .rar files and it says everything is ok, so it must just be an invalid password. hmm...

I'm having a problem with disc 1, part 2. Also, all other PS1 roms and other chrono cross's, when I try to play it I get an error:

" This application has failed to start because d3dx9_26.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. "

I also get this error message when I simply double-click the emulator.

I tried the same thing on epsx, and now I'm using pSX 1.10, and I got same error from both..???
