Whats the deal with the speed on ePSXe!

Well, it happened to my friend!

I was playing on his ePSXe emulator, playing FFIX.

When we got off for about an hour, when he got back into the program it said "Need to configure".

I just reconfigured it all, and now its running slow!

So i went into the video > config > fps limit off. and tried to play it, and it still refused to go back to normal speed, any one help?

Hmmm,

In that situation, I would restart your computer. I don't mean to say something so obvious, but just so you know, I was playing something today and I couldn't get my controller to to work. I tried and tried, but nothing seemed to fix the problem. It was only after some time and a few restarts later that I realized I had two controllers plugged in and I was trying to use controller two when I needed to be using controller one! Ha ha! Thankfully I didn't do some of the more drastic things I was thinking of doing including reinstalling programs.

Peace,

manaman

Well, i restarted the computer, but it still seems that it wont work. I have the FPS set on 200.0. And everything set how it should be.

It just wont run back at normal speed.

Hey,

I would recommend using the auto-detect feature for determining FPS. Still, that is bizarre. Have you used the default settings and selected "Fast?" If it runs insanely fast--as it should--then you simply select to use the FPS limit and have it automatically determine the correct speed.

What plugin are you using? Did the game run at the correct speed before? What are your friend's system spec's?

Peace,

manaman
