(DC) Spawn: In the Deamon's Hand - NTSC-U (395 MB)

(DC) Spawn: In the Deamon's Hand - NTSC-U (395 MB)

The game starts you off with a selectable cast of heroes and villains, including the likes of Redeemer, Angel, Twist, Priest, and Spawn himself. Each character has different abilities, with some specializing in close-up combo-based combat while others are more suited for long range attacks. All can equip numerous weapons, selectable with the tap of a button, and when firing a projectile you can even switch into a first person view, useful for aiming. Control over the characters is a little tricky right now due to the lack of analogue control, but who knows what Capcom's working on right now in their secret Japanese labs.

There are actually two different games in the Spawn: In the Demon's Hand experience. In the boss attack mode, you pit your character of choice in a series of battles against a boss and his thugs. You can die as often as you want - you just need to finish up your foe before time runs out. This mode can be played in two player cooperative mode through the game's vertical split screen, which even at this early stage is running quite smoothly.

The real fun, and the game's true soul (gad - I've been listening to Mizuguchi's lectures too much) is in its death match mode. It's you and three others, either CPU or human controlled, going at one another in a royal rumble or teaming up for 3 on 1 or 2 on 2 fights. You can also enter into a running tournament, where you and a teammate climb the ranks of CPU opponents.

Wait till someone reuploads the game. Which can take a while.. Just download one of the other games which are still working.

Hey dude--what's wrong with the guy above you, huh? He's a weirdo. Anyway, glad everything downloaded correctly for you. The proper emulator is any Dreamcast one--perhaps the best is Chankast. Otherwise, you can always burn this to a disc and run it on your Dreamcast hardware. Good luck!
