(DC) Gauntlet Legends (U) (384 MB)

At long f***in' last, a decent version of Gauntlet Legends for your computer.

The original Gauntlets were fun but not that great.
The N64 Emulators always have problems.
The PSX Version sucks.
PCSX2 is too slow, complex, and buggy.
MAME is EXTREMELY slow.
Chankast and Demul can't even run the goddamn thing!

But now that NullDC is here, all that is about to change...

Finally, a decent version of Gauntlet Legends on a great emulator! (Not perfect, but still great.) Now you can enjoy all the 3D hack&slash action with the swift and noble keyboard!

Wikipedia article.

Because Gauntlet Legends is my Second Favorite Game of All Time, I compiled it to be easy to set up. Therefore, this pack contains:

-NullDC (all set up and ready to go)
-dc_boot.bin and dc_flash.bin
-Gauntlet Legends.nrg
-Daemon Tools

I'll have the thing uploaded by tomorrow morning.

EDIT:
Here it is. Enjoy!

SpiDoL, you've been warned already about posting BIOS's, don't post a BIOS ever again, and next time, it may be a ban.

Thanks,
Anbu

Hey, relax, this was before you deleted the first file.

Will re-upload without the BIOS.

i copied just the gauntlet legends file into the nullDC folder. started the emu with the gauntlet legends file and got the following:

- a pop up window with message: selected image failed to load.

- the dos window (that runs concurrently with the emulator) says:

Invalid data in <C:\nullDC\roms\Gauntlet Legends.nrg> It is not an MDF/MDS file.
Invalid data in <C:\nullDC\roms\Gauntlet Legends.nrg> It is not an NRG file.ThreadEnd

all my other dreamcast roms run ok, is this a working rom?

It works. Except for that one particular ISO, you need to use Daemon Tools in order to play it. I'm not at home right now, but when I get there, I'll explain how it's done.

thanks for the hint!

just did a google search on it. changed plugin from image-reader to znullgd. set the gdrom drive to the daemon tools virtual drive. mounted the gauntlet nrg file with daemon. started it with normal boot.

thanks

Mounted the .nrg on the deamon tools drive then selected it out of the gdrom and it says "selected drive is EMPTY"(dunno if this is a problem)

The emu loads fine, but when I go to play. The screen just fades out and goes to black after its little load noise and does nothing then goes white. If I go into file, I can see that it knows the cd is Gauntlet Legends.

a year old thread, but please god. I WANA PLAY ^_^

I got the same thing as Tieryal. The NRG posted above I just could not get it to work, said empty when using deamon tools mounting the image, and when opening the image directly, it said it was a bad NRG file.

I found these links for Gauntlet legends today on the interwebs, if anyone was looking for a good working copy:

I just tested it with the newest version of nulldc and it played great on my machine. No password needed to extract it.
