I'm losing my mind here. I installed everything, got the bios, got the graphincs to work. It tells me to enter the date and time. None of the keys on my keyboard do anything. Do I need another stupid plug-in?
And the Z key doesn't make it go away! Last edited by ragingtsunami72 : 04-05-2008 at 02:35 PM. |

Hey ragingtsunami72,
Have you tried configuring the input plugin? You have to select a virtual controller to be used or else the system inside the emulator will think there is no controller plugged in. Once you do that, you can also configure what keys represent the different buttons. The best, however, is if you have a USB controller to map all the buttons to. That's ideal. Tell us if this works. If not, tell us what emulator you're using and what precisely you're hung up on. That will help us help you. Good luck! manaman |

I'm glad you got it working! Yay! Just to mention the reason why I suggested a USB game pad: the analog stick! You'll find that games that make heavy use of the analog stick will be much more difficult using a keyboard. Nevertheless, you can do it. Have fun, manaman |

Hi yashmaster,
Sadly I know of no Dreamcast emulators for OSX. If you dual-boot with Windows or if you have a Windows emulator (I don't know much about this second one) then you could theoretically use nullDC. Otherwise, you're out of luck, my friend. Peace, manaman |

Hi there.
It's nice to see so much work put into this and it seems quite a few of us want to run this on their PC. But what if say, I wanted to run this on my Dreamcast? Could I simply use the .cdi files and burn them to individual discs? Are they selfboot or not? I mean, I am trying the above and will let you know if they are selfboot or if they work at all, but assuming it all fails... Is there a way to get these games to work with the files here? Update. Images are both self boot. They work pretty darn well too. Thanks :3 Last edited by Option : 05-31-2008 at 10:48 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |
