Sorry about the file size, its about half of its original size.
This particular Action/RPG isn't all that well known. Sadly it never got the attention it deserved. It came out after Diablo and Baulders Gate and was the first 3-D Action/RPG. Darkstone never got the limelight sadly due to poor advertising. There is also a computer version of this game thats a touch different and features online play, but this version not bad at all despite this. By the way if anyone knows where I can get the computer version, tell me.
The story is pretty average. Your character is the Chosen One, but you haven't proven it yet. The evil necromancer Draak has gained the power to turn into a giant dragon, and is trying to conquer all with the usual dark army. Your character, made of four different classes and a male or female choice for all four, must collect the crystal fragments of the only object able of removing Draak's power long enough to kill him, literally, the last boss has a time limit, fail to kill him and you will have to leave the dungeon to recharge the orb, come back, and try again. Along the way the dungeons you go through are randomly chosen from a pool, which means you'll never know which ones you will play, but each stays as it's dungeon number (i.e. the sun cross quest will always happen as the first dungeon, not as any other).
Each of the classes has their own abilities and limits. They each have a respective stat that can be raised to 999, while the others only go so high. Each class can learn magic, but only the sorcerer and witch get a high enough magic stat to learn all the magic and to the highest levels. The stat limit can be broken by potions, pendants, and rings-even the 999 stat. Your characters age and can die from it, forcing you to make a new one, or you can sometimes get a potion from the magic shop that takes you down a few years or back to 20, but thats sometimes. Also there is a dungeon that has a fountain of youth, but thats a crap shot too.
The game is fully 3-D, and has analog control. The graphics look a little blocky, more so if your using a soft driver on an emulator.
Here's the link. Enjoy!
