Hey there,
Do you have BIOS? Did you setup your controller, memory card and plugins? Use DAEMON Tools to mount the CUE file of Legend of Dragoon to a virtual drive and select the letter of that drive in your drive configuration under ePSXe. P.E.Op.S Soft Driver GPU plugin will give you pretty accurate emulation under ePSXe so I would try that. I've had success with Pete's OpenGL plugin as well. If you want to try others, it would depend on your system. Does that help? manaman |

ahh thank you. the BIOS thing was what i was missing. some things don't act right though... the "screen dissolves when entering a battle" thing just cuts to black instead and some sounds don't play...
but i didnt do anything with the .cue file either, so that may be what i'm missing. thank you =) |

Hey there,
The CUE file isn't really necessary. Some people--myself included--prefer loading the game via the CUE, but if you don't have to, don't worry. As for the screen dissolving, you could try P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver and it'll come right back. OpenGL or DirectX doesn't do it without some tweaking. If you want, I could offer some help with said tweaking. Peace, manaman |

well i dont exactly know what i have as far as directX or anything like that... it wasnt my computer to start with...
but thats not the only problem. for some of the cutscenes and things there is no sound (but only for the higher quality cutscenes) and it makes me sad because those cutscenes make the game so much more awesome... how would i fix that? |

Hey dude,
All you have to do is go to the main GUI and then go to the sound configuration menu. On the screen where you select your SPU plugin, make sure each of the boxes are checked. That should get all your sound in all your cut scenes. Good luck! manaman |
