Yeah, have you set up the emulator correctly? Got the bios and everything? I recently downloaded a Sega Saturn emulator as well, took a while to get it working but in the end I did it. If you haven't got the bios yet then go and download them from a torrent site somewhere. SSF IS the best Sega Saturn emulator.

It said the same thing for me but then I looked up a guide that helped me get through it. It said that everytime but I still got it working. Try and find a guide which will help you configure it correctly.
EDIT: Okay, found something. GP32x.com Board [GP32 GP2X XGP] > Help With Ssf Saturn Emulator Check the fourth post there and do everything exactly as it says. Good luck.

Hey, it took awhile but i figured it out, heres what you need to do, after you get the emulator itself, and the BIOS, get everything configured correctly in that aspect, then you need to download the newest available ASPI Driver layers, the easiest way to do that is to run a Yahoo search for them, its free, and it only takes a few mins to D/L and setup. once you've done that your pretty much set,and another thing, ya gotta unrar the files to make the game bro, if ya dont, it WILL NOT WORK. im getting pretty good at this stuff, so if you need any more help hit me up on PM, and i'll see what help i can offer ya.
