I hope that this fits under this category and that some of you share my fascination for the supernatural and contribute to the thread.

You can share stories that you have read, talk about a personal experience, stuff you saw on the news and so on. everything is sllowed from ghosts, myths, legends, eliens, etc.

I got the following story from a thread in RuneScape - the massive online adventure game by Jagex Ltd

Once there was an old man with no legs. The only way he got around was by dragging himself by his long, long fingernails. He was also a killer. He would kill people with his fingernails, which were remarkably strong. Because of this, the police advised everyone to go home and lock the door by 6:00 until he was caught. So this girl went to her friends and her mom said:"be home by 5:30, you don't want the click, clack to catch you."

So this girl went to her friends, she was about 8. After a while, she looked at the time. 5:25. "Oh shoot!" she said. And started running home. She was tired by the time she got there. But she tried to open the door, and it was locked. Her mom was having a nap. And sure enough. The girl heard it, click clack... The girl screamed and pounded on the door, screaming:"mommy!"

click, clack. click, clack. click clack. click, clack.

The next morning the mother got up and unlocked the door to get the paper. She had completely forgotten about her daughter not coming home.

Then she screamed and lept backwards.

Written in blood on the steps was "mother, why didn't you answer the door?"

The girl was never seen again.....

Here is another one, once again it comes from a thread in the rs forums called "ghost stories #4".

A woman was driving home late one night. The roads were empty and she felt a bit uncomfortable, so she decided to turn on the radio. When she turns it on the news announcer starts to talk:
"A serial killer is still loose in the city and has killed his 4th victim today. He is expected to be looking for somewhere to hide as he was injured in the attack"
The woman turned off the radio and tried to drown all her thoughts. As she was daydreaming at a traffic lights a man with covered in blood banged on the window shouting
"Get out of the car now!!!"
The woman paniced and jumped the light. 2 minutes later the man was running beside the car screaming at her to get out, so she sped up.

After panicing for 10 minutes the man turned up again and told her to get out. She sped off then noticed her petrol was extremley low. As she looked over to the her left there was a sign saying 'Gas - Next right'. She turned and went up the road. When she arrived at the station her petrol ran out. But the place was closed and there was no one in sight. Once again the man came out of no where and started banging on the window screaming at her. The woman started crying, she sat in the footwell and foned 911.

After waiting for 10 minutes she heard another banging on the window. She looked up and was releived to see a police officer standing there. She threw her self out of the car and grabbed on to tbe officer.
The man turned on his torch and looked into the back seat. He was amazed when he saw the murderer laying on her back seat panting and clutching a knife.

The next day the woman saw on the news the picture of the man who had been murdered the night before. It was the same man who was screaming at her to get out of the car. His ghost had returned from beyond the grave to warn her.
