Boy was this movie a stinker!! The special effects couldn't even save it over the dialogue which was akin to listening to nails raking a chalkboard. Everyone has made a big deal over the novel it being authored by a 14 year old, I didn't read it but apparently the movie is true to the novel since it obviously was written by a 14 year old!

yes the dialog was hard to understand and the Special effects were nothing to shake a stick at. Also the movie was too predictable, I knew what was going to happen next....

Although the movie was pretty bad, I have nothing bad to say about the book. I only read the first one, but it was good. I suggest you read it.

yeah the only thing that made me watch the movie was the dragons. It seems that the books are always better than the movies. Books don't have bad acting in them, therefor books will always be better.
