I don't know whats the point of asking that kind of question when you can just go and look it up on the web just like I just did..... :laugh:

I would be interested in hearing your oppinion of why gundam wing targets childeren and is devoid of decent content because, too me, its a hell of alot more interesting story then most other anime I've seen.

Wing targets people with the younger pilots also the entire plot is ripped from 3 separate tomino gundam series in order it follows "Mobile Suit Gundam" "Char's Counterattack" then endless waltz was "Zeta Gundam" and "ZZ Gundam" if you wish even further explanation I'll provide it later but as to how it targets younger audiences is in the idea that is more of a romantic story as compared to the original gundam series, while the wing sagas focus on the "rag tag" group of people who win the war single handedly which most people who watch anime look for like a single hero, also the wing era stuff shows more of a heroic side, which doesnt exist, in war.
But while Wing shows a nonexistant part of war Mobile Suit Gundam (MSG) shows the side of war that no one wants to see, the part where its people not heros who fight the war, how no one is invunerable (apparent by Ryu Jose's death in MSG and Char Aznable and Amuro Ray's death in Char's counterattack). Tomino's works illustrate a real war where people are born, live, and die all durring the same conflict
All in all Wing has wonderful Mecha designs and some characters were well done (even though zechs was a blatent copy of Char) but the stroy was just a redo of tomino works in order to target a younger audiance and sell merchandice.
