I vote for the rule of thumb to come back into play.

^ lol, I don't think they'll bring that rule back any time soon, then it would have to include women too. As for spanking kids, I'm pretty much against it, my parents never spanked me, although I was threatened with it once or twice :P

kids under 3 are too stupid to know what they really did...3 is too young for people to spank kids...I was personally spanked when I was little but it was after I was three...Also it gives people more leanence as to what they see as spanking...
