i dont play it but if you want to use a good emulator download ePSXe 1.6.0 if you need any help with plugins or anything let me know and ill help you out.

Use ePSXe 1.52 to play Digimon World 1 works perfectly without that lil glitch in the quote

Hey, I don't know if this belongs here, but when I try and unzip the file it asks for the password of the encrypted file.

If you are using ePSXe 1.6.0, then click on "File" and "Run ISO" then select "(PSX) Digimon - Digimon World.bin". And if you're not using ePSXe 1.6.0, then I suggest you get it.

My first post.

Anyways, I've downloaded Digimon World. However, when I try to start it up, it says 'No WGL extensions'. I don't know what this means.

I'm using the scph1001.bin bio, Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.7 video device, the ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2. sound device and the ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2 cdrom device. I've configured all of the above to the best of my abilities. If anyone thinks they can help me, my e-mail address is matthewp@netconnect.com.au if they don't just want to reply on here.

Ok, you can disregard my previous post. I got it working. Sort of. I now have another, significantly larger problem.

I changed some of the plugins I was using, changed the configuration about, and tried again. It worked. The game started working fine. After a short time, I exitted the game. When I did, I found that the resolution of my screen had been cut from 1024 x 768 to, I think, 640 x 480. After trying multiple ways to change it back, none working, I restarted my computer to see if it would go back to normal. Now my computer won't work, even on safe mode. I think the problem might be to do with a system driver called 'Mup'. I'm not sure, though. Could someone please explain what caused this, how to fix it, and/or how to stop it happening again? If you would prefer to e-mail me, use derekp@netconnect.com.au since my other computer won't, as I said, work.

I'm using Windows XP.

Ok, I've fixed my computer (Wiped it and reinstalled the OS) and returned to my normal e-mail address. But I'd still like to know what caused it, and how to prevent it.

i just joined and dl the file and epsxe 160 but it says i need to configure the video. do i need to buy some kind of video plug-in or can dl 1 or something to play this game. i wanted to play this for a while!

still nothing is showing up under config>video. none of the graphic plug-ins are showing.
