You only need a password to unzip the files, no username.

Can't unzip Disc 4. Any chance we can get part 2 of disc 4 in Megaupload? (I used HJSPlit to join the files, then winrar for 7z zip, so that should have all worked ok)

Thanks, and keep up the good work!!

Why don't you just use 7zip to join the files back together, both 7zip and WinRAR can join their own files together without any need for HJSplit. Actually if you use HJSplit there is a good chance of screwing up the archive.

They have ".001" and ".002" afterwards. doesn't that mean I have to use HJsplit?

(sorry for the n00b question)

No, you do not have to use HJSplit if they have the .00# extension. Just use the program they were made with, WinRAR for RAR files and 7zip for .7z files. The program will auto detect a split archive and put together the pieces. From my experience WinRAR has problems with multipart 7z archives but handles single ones just fine so for multipart 7z archives use the real 7zip program. If its a multipart zip archive (wich also uses the .00# file names) then i think either WinRAR or 7zip will work just fine.

For an alternative to WinRAR and 7zip try IZArc - The Ultimate Archive Utility

Ok, I got it. The problem was that the 2nd part of CD 4 was labeled FF8_CD4... not FF8 CD4. That underscore instead of space messed it all up. renamed and everything is well.

Thanks for your help, hope this clears up issues for anyone else in the future.
