im not sure but try switching to petes open gl driver, and looking under special game fixes. I dont use my emulator really anymore, but it might be there. Try to get the most recent driver for petes as well.

i just finished downloading the DISC 3 of the FF VIII, i put the password of this site , and an error about a WRONG PASSWORD appear. PLEASE, what's the real pass for THE DISC 3??????? PLEASE, ANSWER ME, PLEASE.

It should be the same. Try copying and pasting the password from here to there, maybe your just typing it wrong.

Just wanted to let everyone know about a glitch when using the ePSXe emulator. On Disc 2 when you choose two parties of three (1 to the missile base, 1 to the garden), DO NOT PUT Rinoa in the party going to the Garden!! If you do, you'll find out about 3 hours later that you can't navigate your party through the only door on a platform that you're required to visit in order to watch a cut scene.

Well, as i got it to work on my own computer, on this computer *my friends* It seems that when i extract both files at the same time, FF8CD1.002 Seems to have no archives.

And its not asking for a password either.

Well,

That's because you have to have all the numbered parts 001, 002 and any more and highlight them all and extract them all together. They are split because of file size limits.

hey, as chucksteak said earlier above, if you have rinoa in your group when you have to split up your party, your game might get you stuck here with the files given from here, I was using psxemulator and I had the same problem of not being able to open the door, yet I've never had that problem on my own discs, so I dunno
but anyway, I ran into this problem & tried every angle, anything, to get through that door, came on here, saw that it wasn't just me and proceeded to find a solution, which came in the form of a walk through walls game shark code, so if anyone runs into this no door problem, you can use this method

the disk 1 may have gone funny.. cuz it dosent come as WinRAR file, like the rest of the CD's. wen i downloaded this file it came as a "001" file and i cant play it
help!!

err...the ff7 they showcase on on g4 is actually juz a tech demo for ps3..meaning the they would not be a remake of ff7 on ps3...the cool looking scene u witness is only to show ps3 engine quality...

I seem to have a problem though.

I have just started playing the game using CD 1 (It's not the first time I played it), and I seem to have problem junctioning Abilities even after the "GF"s learn them.

Is it a bug with the NRG, or am I doing something wrong(I doubt as I have experience with the game).
Should I convert the game to ISO ?

Could we get this in another uploading site then Megaupload? They only allow a certain amount of data to be downloaded, and after it's exceeded you either have to pay or wait, I think it is two hours... =/
