I have downloaded CD1 and unzipped them successfully but I can't seem to get CD2 working.
I downloaded both "FFVII Disk 2.7z.001" and "FFVII Disk 2.7z.002". When I tired to open them with WinRAR, I got an error message saying "The archive is either in unknown format or damaged". Do I need another program to unzip them or to merge the 2 files together? Or are the files broken? Can someone help me out here :P? |

I have downloaded both parts to disc 1. Unzipped it with winrar, and then have tried unsuccesfully to combine the .img's to .iso's. I've never really been able to pull this off, so I was wondering if someone could just give me a general walk through on how to do this. I know this is really basic, but my version of the game is scratched up, and I've desperatly been wanting to rob myself of some more sleep because of thsi game.
thanks alot in advance guys |

1. download both 001.rar and 002.rar
2. put them in the same folder 3. unzip 001.rar with winrar 4. after you enter in the password, the unzip process will automatically unzip 002.rar and combine the iso. 5. mount the iso and play ![]() That's how I got cd1 working. I tried to do the same thing for CD2 and CD3 but I can't get them to unzip at all. I get an error message saying "the archive is either in unknown format or damaged". My winrar version is 3.41 and the newest is 3.61 so I don't think it's a version problem. But I will update today and see if I can resolve it. If anyone can offer any tip on that, it'll be great. |

Ok, this is just in. I updated WinRAR and it didn't work so I did a little bit of research on the forums and it looks like we need to use 7-zip in order to unzip the files. I downloaded it and I got CD2 extracted. I have faith that it'll work when I need it
![]() so... go download 7-zip |
