Fixed disc 3. Happy downloading!

I am using PSXEven to play this game and I am having sound issues. Like, sometimes the battle music lags, the world map music won't play at all and the victory music doesn't seem to work either. It is kind of petty, but if anyone else had settings that works for them, help would be nice! I am on disc one, FYI.

Hey,

To be honest, I use ePSXe primarily and haven't experimented with the emulator you're using before. Do you download plugins for it? If you do, did you get Pete's plugins? If so, you should see options for what sounds play on the main configuration screen and if you do, you should check all of them. That way you'll hear all the sounds in the game.

As for the lag, that's probably due to a video plugin (of course, if you're using them) that is making the game too pretty. I like Pete's P.E.Op.S Soft Driver in ePSXe and the "Nice" default setting selected. It's not as pretty as other plugins, but it will render things correctly.

Good luck,

manaman

1 of the only PS1 games I still own. Lavitz, I salute you, for you PWN Albert, he is lame.

One another note, has anyone ever taken the time to max out Lavitz' D.Lv and Add's before he is killed like me? I saved a file just so whenever I'm really hatin' on Al I can load it up. lol.

Hm, well, I've had a lot of problems with ePSXe. I am not sure if its because of bad configuration or if its because I am on Vista. PSXeven works beautifully for me compared to ePSXe thusfar; this is the first time I've had problems with it.

Hello,

Nanaki, that sounds like something I would do--though I have to admit, I don't particularly care for this game, so I wouldn't in this case.

Veiraza, I see. Did my advice work for you? If not, I can find out more information regarding your emulator.

Peace,

manaman
