The PAL version is called Tombi and the NTSC version is Tomba so you've probably only played the NTSC version which is Canadian/American.

Did anyone else hate that bee character? I absolutely loved the first Tomba, but that stupid bee really ruined the game for me. Perhaps I'll give this a try and see if the bee is as annoying as I remember.
