Dungeon roleplay RULES
Ok, since no one else made this yet, I thought it a good idea to
I know this has been done before, but failed or something of the sort...anyways, everytime "we" finish a "dungeon" someone different makes a new setting ( place, time, story background etc). Introduce your character ( class, name ) and stay with that char for every roleplay. This one is also not as indepth as the other one, but I think thats what will make it more enjoyable. This thread will be used for questions and character creation.(easier to find) Secondly, all items and lvls/stats will be lost when campaigns are done. Thirdly, yes, a new thread will be made for party onlookers. Another thing I thought about, is in the siggy, if you made a char, you could put your char name and lvl, so you don't start at lvl 1 all the time. If someone isn't posting in a while, the following will occur depending on the situation. If he/she is in a campaign, they have 5 days to make a reply, or they're killed off.(*player1 jumps off a cliff for no reason...*) If they are not posting while not in a campaign, nothing happens. Maximum spells: 5 To form a party, go to this thread. http://www.emulatorworld.com/forums/...html#post76943 Making a new campaign. New maps should be introduced like this, Map name: name of map Story background: Why are we here Goal: What are victory conditions Only 6 Characters are aloud per campaign. The campaign ends when Either the victory condition is met, or the GM says so. :P Making a character. When you make a character, state its full name and class. You can choose from the following classes.( addons can and will be made )- Assassin - Warrior - Mage - Rogue - Ninja - Archer - Monk - Priest Example character: Name: YourCharName Class: YourCharClass Items Each new Character starts with basic equips differing on the class. Assassin: Weapon: Katar Armor: Leather armor Accessory: none Warrior: Weapon: Short Sword Armor: Steel Armor Accessory: none Mage: Weapon: Staff Armor: Silk Robe Accessory: None Rogue: Weapon: Dagger Armor: Leather doublet Accessory: None Ninja: Weapon: Shuriken Armor: Ninja suit Accessory: None Archer: Weapon: Bow Armor: Shell armor Accessory: None Monk: Weapon: Knuckles Armor: Leather Robe Accessory: None Priest: Weapon: Mace Armor: Cotton Robe Accessory: None All items recieved will not be kept. Although, you can change one weapon, armor or accessory that you get. Each Char begins at lvl 1. GM decides who and who doesn't get experience(damn KSer's) Keep in mind, this is for simplicities sake.( helluva lot of text to keep track of items, although....nah) Character List all names in use will be listed below, these names cannot be used in any campaign other than there respected owner. Alright, I'm sure a couple of people will join. Good to see there's a bit of life again in the Roleplaying forum, used to be most popular a long time ago (hence the highest amount of posts in this forum).
By the way it's best to keep this as simple as possible, so the GM decides the damage, actions, xp, items etc and maybe it's best to loose everything when a Dungeon is finished? Also not too many people should join in one campaign or it'll be a mess soon..

I guess I'll join, but I can't think of a good map right now. I guess we should just start off with a classic dungeon.
Map Name: Cave of Sorrow Story Background: To slay the dark mages that reside there Victory Conditions: Incapacitate every dark mage within the cave. That's just my idea...

Name: Shadow
Class: Priest I made this thread a sticky. Please start the actual roleplaying in a different thread once the party has been assembled so we can keep using this thread for questions, party assembling etc. Also, what happens when someone isn't posting for a while? Another question, where do you think would be best to gather a party and to get a GM, create a different thread for that or use this thread or the bars? I'd say a different thread in the future would be best. Do you prefer to keep the stats and items after a dungeon or loose them all? Maybe it's best to loose them all, because it's hard to keep track of that I think..
