Simple. You make a character using a profile skeleton. As long or short as you want, but for the purpose of this thread, you are limited to 3 abilities.

The setting is a Colosseum, who's outer wall is constructed out of travertine stone and held together without mortar, but instead, by 300 tonnes of iron clamps. The interior seating is made of pristinely polished marble, and cushions are available for purchase. The arena itself does not contain a hypogeum, but is rather nothing more than an empty pit with a wood floor covered in sand. Four iron barred gates are present, one at each compass direction. Two for pit fighters and animals brought in from the outside, and two for bringing them up from the prison below the Colosseum. It is big enough to allow for two to three separate fights, or a 6 person free for all fight.

Enchantments

• Dome of Containment: One enchantment is currently in place to keep the fighters from leaving the pit vertically, meaning that they cannot climb or fly out. This also means that a fighter's weapons, or magickal attacks, cannot escape the dome, ensuring the safety of the crowd. This extends to a height of 150ft above the floor of the pit at its peak, as not to hinder the fighters, should they have any natural or magickal ability of flight.
  
  
• Teleport Restrictions: Enchantments have also been put into place to prevent any teleportation out of the pit area. All fighters must enter the pit on foot, and leave on foot(Or on a stretcher). Teleportation within the pit is still allowed, but leaving the pit by means of teleportation has been forbidden.

Rules

Edit: Putting KDB's rules into this post as well.

1. No God modding. That means: No dodging every attack. No nano-second reflexes. No shrugging off every attack. No Auto-hitting. No Time-crunching. Etc. etc.

2. Three Abilities only. Your characters from other Roleplays(Online, Pen and Paper RPGs, etc.) may have more, but in this thread, you are limited to three. This is for balance.

2.5. All powers have limits on how often they can be utilized. As of right now, it is once every 5 rounds. A round is denoted by the post by a judge after the Attacker and Defender have both had a chance to post. Roles are switched the next round to keep with the limits of one attack/defense per post.

3. No arguing. Discuss any problems, and don't burst into petty fighting OOC(Out of Character). If you can't resolve a problem, consult a judge.

4. Keep all posts IC(In Character). When speaking Out of Character, use some form of symbol, such as ((OOC)) or ||OOC||, or even a simple OOC: label.

4.5. Please make your posts readable. I do not want random posts or posts composed of one gigantic paragraph with little to no spaces. Your post needs to make sense, and all actions must follow simple logic and physics.

5. Have fun.

TOPPKAT827 a cyborg sent back from the year 3021.Appearing as an oversize stuffed cat you might win at the carnival except alive and wearing a proper Top hat. A Cloud of dense smoke swirls around since he always travels in ninja silence. Having instant detection of the enemy's appearance TOPPs power generates a mirror image of the enemy. He was formerly unstoppable in his old world but has now picked up and traveled to remote corners of the known world. detects CHRONO at 500 yards and throws a flash grenade to his left and try to distract him while TOPP KAT827 appears as a friend asking for a favor then Switches back to his original form flashing his classic Cheshire grin as he takes 200 gold coins from Chrono. "I have to remain at the top of my game"

(( Y'know, that would be an example of auto-hitting and time crunching, both forms of god modding XD Auto-hitting in that you said the action happened without allowing any time for a reaction, and time crunching in that you did way too friggin much for one post XD. ))

Tanaki entered the arena through the fighter's door, stepping into the pit as his sandals push about the sand below his feet. Staff in hand, he looked around at his surroundings, wondering why exactly he had come to this realm and why he was participating in fights at this arena.

"Reminds me of Rome..."

He walked forward into the center of the arena, awaiting an opponent.

"I'm getting tired of ur gas now jerk that pistol and go to work!" TOPPKAT827 does a stewards slap on the ear of Tanaki. "I said throw down, boy!" Disappears, reappears in the exact same spot and slaps Knight24 in the face again. Vanishing in a cloud of white smoke, leaving his opponent Tanaki dazed and confused in the ensuing cloud of dust. TOPPKAT827 takes a swig of peppermint schnapps. "See that's why I am always at the top of my game"

Tanaki blinked at the strange creature that seemed to suddenly appear and attempt to slap him. Of course, Tanaki wouldn't just stand there and take abuse from some kitty-man. He would move his hand slightly to move the top of his staff into the path of the slap in an attempt to block the attack. He was a druid, not a tolerant pacifist. He closed his eyes for a moment before opening them again, giving his would-be opponent a glaring look before he spoke.

"A fight is what you want? Then a fight you shall get."

Tanaki dropped into stance, spinning his staff and tucking the top end beneath his right arm as he held it along the center with his fingers, his thumb pointing upwards and ready to grasp his weapon to deliver a good, hard smack to his opponent, should he attempt a hostile move. His left foot slid forward, and his body turned to the right as his left arm was brought up in front of him, his fingers and thumb held loosely, not extended nor held in a fist. He took a moment to smirk before he spoke.

"Lets dance."

Sasuto sighed as he watched a small robotic terd try to steal money from him. He scratched his head and wondered what was going on since he didn't even have money on him to begin with. He look at the new person who entered in and paid no attention to him. All he was interested in was the idiot who tried to mug him. He sped up towards Topp and let loose a punch that you break through even the hardest rock in the world. Even though his opponent was made of metal it should still hurt him.

He slammed his fist into Topp's side and quickly grabbed onto his arm. He slammed his elbow to where the joints in his arm was trying to dissable the usage of it. He then swept Topp's feet from under him, and while still holding onto his arm flung him across the arena. "Pile of Junk..."

TOPPKAT827's blurred vision from the punch of SASUTO's dragon fist rendert a quality.
SHaken and stirred by the blow and left in the dust by SASUTO's tiger crane style TOPPKAT827 gets to his feet and runs to find his hat. Dusting the dust off of his TOPP hat he straightens his checkered bow tie. "Well enough lollygagging time for a break to have myself a spicy chicken sandwich." While sitting at Wendy's checking the time on his watch, TOPP plotted his revenge on SASUTO. "I tried to steal his coins and he didn't even have enough to buy a small soda at Johnny Rocket's." A light bulb established itself over TOPP's head. "Since i am the TOPP KAT who is always at the top of his game regardless it is time for me to bake a very special chocolate poisoned cake for my little pretty." He left it on SASUTO's porch with a note reading, "Happy early birthday, love Mom" All of a sudden TOPP remembered that he was fighting Knight24 at the same time. Taking off his gold chains he steps into the arena.Takes the shape of a polar bear and swipes at Tanaki, breaking his walking stick. Then TOPP reaches into his pocket and pulls out a Klondike bar which he throws at Tanaki.

((I don't think I should even write up a response to that incredibly terrible and irreverent post... It had nothing to do with the fight. :l you have several examples of a roleplaying post to take ideas from. -grumbles- Oh well.... I think I'll wait for KDB to rule on this... So, as per my own ruling, the fight is on hold, awaiting a judge's ruling on the validity of your attack. Meanwhile, I'm going to press reset and try again with Dodo...

Note: Not only was the post laughable, you broke a rule of KDB's xD. One power usage per every 5 rounds. ))

"First victory? What makes you think I'll fall?"

Tanaki looked to the man who had stepped forth and challenged him. Heavy suit of armor. Large, restrictive shield. Single hand blade. More than likely a helmet that impaired his vision as well.

"Please... Wearing that, you may take less damage from most blows, but you end up being so clumsy that charging blindly is all you can do."

Tanaki shrugged to himself and disregarded his own statement, feeling that since he was there to fight, then he would fight, even if his opponent was impaired by his own choice. He dropped into stance(See profile for stance) and looked to his opponent.

"Alright then. I'll indulge you, until you say the safety word."

"your peers have spoken and it has been declared that toppkat827 is a defective model cat mutant cyborg thing and must be rebooted."

KDB flying down from the top of the protective dome draws his MOD Sword with his right hand and in a single motion decapitates the helpless toppkat before the first drop of blood/oil was even visible KDB had griped his JUDGES AX in his left hand and dismembered the headless corps.

"Tanaki, Sasuto for your inconvenience dealing with a faulty fighter i award you both a lucky toppkat827 paw my imp is a master healer believe it or not he will create him some new ones while there rebuilding him. He will be repaired and may be back soon so prepare your selves."

KDB yells to the imps in the prison below
"WE HAVE A FIGHTER IN NEED OT HEALING UP HERE AND MAKE SURE TO FIX HIM CORRECTLY THIS TIME"

Fights one and two have been annulled. all participants are to report to the prison imp for any medical attention needed.
