How to properly close down game emulator

Yeah i need help on to properly close down the game...
When i play epsxe 1.6 and play a game (megaman legends) i normally close down the game by alt+f4.But it doesnt close it down...I could still hear the sounds from the game and i have to end the process in my task manager.

Lol, I remember i worked on that for a long time. What you do is, press escape, go to file, and close it that way. If it still doesn't work, hit control+Alt+Delete, go to the tabs on the top and hit processes, hit ePSXe, hit end processes, and it will end.

Or you could go to file-Close

You can always hit the esc key... Thats what I do

I hit the escape key whenever im finished playing a game. Then i close the little epsxe window. This usually will close both emulator windows and there should not be any sound in the backround. I closed it improperly once but if that happens, all you have to do is open the task manager, hit the processes tab, and find the epsxe process and end it.
