ePSXe - Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter- Doesn't Play

To anyone who can help;

I've tried looking around the forums and couldn't find an answer, I've downloaded "Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter - NTSC-U (279mb)" from the Megaupload site, got both part1 and part2 of the .rar files extracted them but each are extracted as .mdf and .mds instead of .bin and for some reason when I try to open the file with the epsxe emulator it doesn't even show up on the list of ISO's to be opened.

I have been able to play Metal Gear Solid using epsxe.

I'm sorry if this question has been answered in another forum. But I decided to post it up in the general Support area for epsxe in case anyone else had similar problems.

Any help is appreciated! And thanks a bunch for the site!

Hey there,

The MDS and MDF files are Alcohol 120% files which are not recognized by ePSXe. However, you can mount the image (MDS) to a virtual drive by using DEAMON Tools. From there, direct ePSXe to the virtual drive letter and then you can choose to run from a disc within ePSXe.

Good luck,

manaman

Hi ManaMan,

Thanks for the info, I haven't used virtual drivers yet, so I didn't recognize the extentions. It makes more sense now. Much appreciated!
